Set of Six Cups and Saucers marked
EBERTHAL ~ Bavaria, W. GERMANY
Welcome! I am pleased to present six cups and saucers designed by Eberthal & made in Bavaria, West Germany.
Crafted of the highest quality glazed~porcelain. Estimated production date is during the late 1940's or early 1950's, based on the inventory at an estate sale I attended.
Cup has a 3 5/8 inch opening, 2 5/8 inches tall, saucer measures 5 3/4 across.
There are several matching pieces for sale...type Eberthal in my Search Box (15" & 11" platter, vegetable bowl, creamer & sugar set, gravy boat, dishes, etc.).
Pattern: flowers or feathers in colors of robin's egg blue, lavender and gray with gold trim on a pure china white background.
The underside reads:
89 (97 on cup)
In excellent condition other than a couple of flea bites (one small nick)...there are no cracks, stains, or crazing.
